How long can the ADCP-600-SC-FA4 deploy autonomously?
Endurance depends on your sampling interval. See the Battery Life Estimator table above for detailed estimates. In burst mode at 1 burst per hour, deployments exceeding 180 days are achievable. External battery packs extend this to 1+ year. 64 GB storage handles years of data even at high sampling rates.
How is data recovered after a deployment?
After retrieval, connect via RS-232/422 cable to a PC and download using the free Oceantek ADCP Utility. Data exports to CSV, MATLAB, and Python formats. The 64 GB Micro SD stores months to years of data. For remote sites, optional acoustic modem telemetry provides periodic data subsets without retrieval.
What mooring configurations work best?
